Heading to my first race next month and trying to figure out how to listen to the teams without having to buy a scanner
Not that I know of. As far as I know of it’s only offered on Sprint phones because the Cup series is sponsered by Sprint.
But you can rent a Fanview for $50 for the cup race or $75 for the entire weekend. And usually you can get a $10 off coupon at the track. Or you can rent some other kind of scanner for, I think about, $30.
Our 1st trip to Daytona in July 07, I rented a Fanview on Sat, had a $10 coupon & paid $40 for the night. I loved it so much that I bought one off ebay that same year around Christmas. Still have it, I use it at every track we go to for an activation fee of $10 for the entire weekend.
Just remember that you don’t have to buy. You can rent at the track.
