what are your thoughts of the Nascar ‘08 video game?
i got it yesterday, and i find it to be a little disappointing. there are many tracks on the Busch series that are missing. the Milwaukee Mile isn’ on there. it looks like they just copied the tracks for the cup drivers to go with the Busch, and Craftman’s truck.
there is also very little items to unlock, and not too many paint, and sponsors to chose from when creating your own car.
they don’t even give you a real choice to chose from when chosing your favorite driver’s car and their different car logos.
what are your thoughts on the new Nascar ‘08? do you like it, or do you also feel it to be disappointing
the best nascar game EA has made was Nascar Thunder 2004.
Keep in mind that this is the first release for Ps3 and XBOX 360. We have to make sacrifices because it’s a first release and you know the first release of MADDEN on the 360 was total junk, and a piece of crap. The game is hard and the casual pick it up and be great days are over. It pays to practice. Yes they could have had a ton more paint schemes for the driver and for the user created car. I was a little disappointed at that. I like using the Microsoft racing wheel though. It was definitely worth the money. If you have a controller, set your sensitivity down as low as you can. It will help on the restrictor plate races. I love all of the tuning options, although some tutorial would have helped out a little bit here. They could have easily put that in the instruction manual or included it in like they did with Forza! The game is tough, I’ll give them that! The computer is a little overaggressive. Not all of the tracks will release rights for EA to have them in the game so yes they will always be left out unless they give permission. Carl Edwards is missing too. But we can’t have everything I guess!!! I like the game, its fun, a challenge, a little ridiculous at times, but then again what game isn’t cheap and pathetic at times!!! Getting gold on the license is nearly impossible. I have only a handful of them!
