Sprint Nascar Scanner

sprint nascar scanner
can anyone help with problems using sprint nextel nascar mobile?

ive tried sprint/nextel wireless tech support, and emailed the support address they gave me, but no luck. when i try to set up alerts, it freezes, also, i have yet to find where you can hear live scanner chat as advertised. if any of you have experience with this application, please share your feelings.i used to have nascar.comtogo thru verizon, and loved it. but i guess they cancelled the contract, as i have got no response from their website either.

I have looked at their web site. Not much luck locating the info. As for the freezing it may just be in an area where your connection or signal is slow. Try using it a an area where your reception is better. Also go by a store and see if they can help you. If I find anything else I will try to post it. Sorry I could not be any better help.

Here is their support site. You may be able to find the answer here. What kind of phone do you have and I’ll see if I can help you?

http://support.sprint.com/doc/sp11035.xml?selectedDeviceId=8830&navtypeid=13&pagetypeid=9&prevPageIndex=94

I read a remark that one user was having problems with his Palm Centro freezing using Sprint NASCAR Mobile.

I have also been reading that some of the phones have been freezing and it’s not the application. It may be just the phone. If it was me and I payed for a high priced phone and also the service then I would go by and tell them that you have read that other users were having the same problems. If they can’t provide a better service then ask to be released from your contract. They may make you a deal.

I personally can’t stand Sprint. A few years back they dropped a lot of their customers simply because they said they were too much trouble. They said they called too much complaining at technical support. I dropped my service with Sprint. If you purchased the phone online through a discount offer then your local store may tell you that they can’t help you. I’d still try the local store though.

—————————-
Okay, I looked for anything relating to the i580 phone and came up with nothing. If you have downloaded the application already then there is nothing I can help you with. The i580 phone “is” a compatible phone so there is no problem there.

“Subscribers will be able to download NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile by texting NASCAR to 7777 on Sprint phones and receive a bounceback message with a link to the application. Standard messaging rates will apply”.

Sorry, that’s all I can find.

9. After his death, who took Dale’s place.

10. What year was his first championship.

1. Dale made his Winston Cup debut in 1975, finishing 22nd while driving Ed Negre’s Dodge in the World 600 at Charlotte in a deal put together by CMS President Richard Howard.

5. Nearly every detail of the event was made public, from the finding of a torn seatbelt inside Earnhardt’s car to graphic descriptions of the injuries the driver suffered at the moment of impact. There were rumors that he did not have his seat belt on properly, as he liked to wear it loose so he could move around and not feel too constrained.

7*. 49 years old.

8*. DEI (Dale Earnhardt Incorporated)

9*. Nobody, his number 3 car is retired, but you could also say Kevin Harvick because he drives the Goodwrench Chevrolet.

10. 1st – 1980

Good quiz! I loved it knowing Dale was my favorite driver, the starred numbers I was able to answer on my own, the unstarred I had to look up, thanks.

Nascar Tracks: Atlanta Motor Speedway

The NASCAR Atlanta Motor Speedway is in Hampton, Georgia (a suburb of Atlanta) and has a 1.54-mile oval track with turns banking at 24 degrees. Because these banks and their smooth surface, car speeds have been known to reach 190 mph on occasion. However these sustained high-throttle speeds make it hard on engines at the NASCAR Atlanta Motor Speedway. You will see a variety of action here as cars will race closely side-by-side along with a lot of pushing and cutting off. All this action at the NASCAR Atlanta Motor Speedway is made even more exciting by the high speeds.

The Atlanta Speedway offers a variety of options to see the races from premier seating to facilities for camping. The raceway’s premier seating is the Club One option. Fans purchasing this seating option sit in a location with a great view on top of the Winners Grandstand. It has 65 video screens along with a first-class bar and menu. Probably one of the most exciting features of Club One is the fans get a pre-race pit stop pass.

The Speedway can be rented for all sorts of group occasions too. They have custom packages for weddings, wedding receptions, theme parties, birthday parties, group meetings, and other special gatherings.

You can bring your recreational vehicle or popup tent and camp at the Atlanta Motor Speedway too. Shower facilities are available.

The Speedway’s website is excellent and has all the information you need. It even has a frequently-asked questions link where you can see the answers on subjects such as getting drivers’ autographs to bringing your cooler inside the track.

If you ever wanted to get into racing marketing, NASCAR’s Atlanta Motor Speedway gives you the opportunity through its internship program. This is an unpaid internship program but it gives you the experience needed to get into the career of NASCAR marketing by allowing you to gain working experience at the NASCAR Atlanta Motor Speedway. Plus, with this experience, one can be competitive in the market for the paid NASCAR marketing positions. The qualifications are that the person must be a college-level student (B.A. or B.S.) and a marketing communications major. You will help with the public relations, advertising, and event duties at the track.

The Atlanta Speedway is also the venue for numerous NASCAR driver schools where one can purchase a fantasy racing package and experience the thrill of being a NASCAR driver for a short time. Now these are not schools to train you to be a professional driver. There is no career path like that. These are schools for the amateurs who just want to do something different and experience the thrill of the drive. There are different levels and of course price ranges. It is patterned a somewhat after the Major League Baseball fantasy camps where you get to play games and train alongside Major League Baseball players.

Richard Petty, the King of NASCAR, runs a NASCAR driving experience school along with others who have their schools and use the Atlanta Motor Speedway track.

2008 PR Guide for Small Business-the 9 Things you Must Do This Year to Make Money

Publicity is a tricky area for small business. You may not have a lot of money to spend yet you need big results. You may have a nice size budget but are not sure where to spend it to make the most impact. A small business owner cannot event get advice without paying high fees. Here are 9 things you must do to make business. Start from here and move your business forward!

1. Get a real news release written by a professional. Many copy writers will tell you they write news releases. If they were good at it, they would be in publicity, not copy writing. Being a good at copywriter does not automatically make you a good publicity writer, just like being a good driver does not make you a good NASCAR driver. Get a pro and pay the fees for them.

2. Make sure your news releases are going out locally on a regular basis. Your local media should know about your first, keep them in the loop. That will help you spring to regional and national prominence.

3. Create events. Not just a sale, or the tired “you buy my stuff and I will give some money to charity”, do something worth talking about. Impress the media. Unless you are giving large sums of money to a charity, the media doesn’t care and the public doesn’t believe you.

4. Let your entire staff know about the publicity going out and what their response should be. Nothing is more frustrating than calling to get more information and no one knows what is going on.

5. Recycle some publicity during the year. You can repackage some things and use them for a new season, holiday or event.

6. Pay Per Interviews are not all bad. People use to tell you never pay for an interview. In today’s competitive world, you may need that edge. Do some due diligence and check out the source then make the most of it be leveraging someone else’s network with a paid interview.

7. Set aside some money from your marketing budget to get your publicity done

8. Create a mastermind group with other businesses for publicity ideas

9. Create your own personal list from Bacons Media Source. Your personal list of contacts will be a gold mind.
