What do orange numbers mean in Nascar?

I have this Dale Earnhardt Sr. car from when I was a little kid, and it has orange numbers and an orange stripe on the roof of the car, and I was wondering what that meant?

Back when Winston was still the title sponsor of the Cup series, they had this event called the No Bull 5, which usually consisted of the top 5 finishers from the previous No Bull race. They were designated by the orange stripe and numbers so they were easier to find. If one of those drivers won the race, they would win an additional million dollars on top of the race winnings. I think at one point they also paired a lucky fan with one of those five drivers each race, and that fan would win a million dollars, if the driver they were paired with won, as well. Once Winston stopped sponsoring the Cup series, the No Bull challenge went with it.

Ok, so here’s a little bit about him. He’s not really a sports guy. He watches football but that’s about it. Loves Nascar, his favorite is Jimmy Johnson. Loves Seinfeld (owns all the seasons). He’s a do-it-yourself-er. Loves to cook, but has tons of cookbooks. He’s really a special guy for me, although, I can’t afford much..maybe $50 – $75. Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks!
