NASCAR 2009 on XBOX.?
Can anyone give me any tips as regards to car adjustments etc as i know very little of the technical side of Nascar racing,i feel that im not getting upto full speed in the races????
I can tell you that you need to take the braking assists off. That lowers your top speed by up to 15 miles per hour. You can get more speed entering the corners. I have hit 209 at Michigan entering turn 3 just to name one. Also once you do that, go to your car setup before the race and during practice and make sure you put it on veteran instead of rookie car setup. You will find that you will be able to turn the car easier, reach higher speeds, make better adjustments. My suggestion after putting it on veteran instead of rookie is to only mess with the tire pressures, wedge, and the basic sliders on the first page of setups. Also on road courses you want to leave the setups page on rookie unless you really know what you are doing with the car adjustments to handle well in all the turns. If I had the game page right in front of me I could give you more detailed tips but I am at work sorry. This should help you tremendously though. Just make sure you practice a few laps (like 20 or 30) to get used to your setups. Also, for some reason, the game resets your settings during qualifying so keep that in mind as it will go back to your settings once the race starts but your car will feel different than you had it in practice when you go to qualify.
