Who was #2 in Nascar history?

I have a Pez dispencer that I think is rather neat. The number 2 is on the side of the helmet[which is the head of the pez dispencer]. On the top of the helmet it says Rusty”s last call. In smaller letters it says penske racing.
Is he still racing or in what years did he race? What does the inscription—Rusty’s last call–refer to? Thanks.

Rusty Wallace used to drive the #2 Miller Lite car. “Last Call” was for his last year of racing after he announced he was retiring. They called it his “Last Call” tour because he drove for a beer company and whenever a bar is about to close for the night the bartender will yell “Last Call”. His last year was like 2005 or something around there.

Rusty won the Championship in 1989 driving a Pontiac Grand Prix for Kodiak chewing tobacco. He’s one of the winningest drivers too with 55 wins. He was never great on Superspeedway’s, however many consider him the best in Nascar history at short tracks.

Kurt Busch is the current driver of the #2 Miller Lite car owned by Roger Penske.

Currently, Rusty Wallace owns Iowa Speedway. He does alot of TV commentary and he also owns a Nascar Nationwide team that his son Steve Wallace drives for. Also, drivers Kenny and Mike Wallace are his brothers. They all grew up in St. Louis, MO.
